If I could hand out 10 stars believe…
I work as a network engineer and needed something to help me with prof of concept before we deploy new configs but I did not have an emulator or computer with resources to run the emulator. I stumbled across dynamips who provided me a one stop shop for everything I needed to make my job easier and even learn newer technology. They have a eve ng hosted server that you can reserved monthly or yearly and I couldn’t be more satisfied. All I did after the purchase was wait while they set up the server and send me the information. I logged in and the images were already pre installed with options for adding more! I couldn’t ask for a better product. This service helped me come up with a new vxlan configuration and after testing it on the eve ng server I was able to deploy it. If your a network engineer needing something to help with implementation of new configs or verify proof of concept or you want to receive that hands on training to start a career in networking, I highly recommend dynamips for all your networking emulating needs!

I reached out to the crew at Dynamips to see what I needed to do in order to get another copy of the workbook files. Well put together package. Took quite a bit of time to download ova files due to my slowish internet but once downed and imported into vmware workstation an absolute joy.Decent amount of labs, though I would have liked to see more workbooks as well.
Hopefully we see a network automation pack down the line as well.I’m currently reviewing each lab in my spare time, and it’s great to see the improvements being implemented where necessary. I bought the Eve-ng full pack last month but due to my own mistake of not reading the instructions I found out that my M1 MAC isn’t compatible with Eve-ng due to lack of support from VMware. So, I emailed back the team to kindly request if they could swap my EVE-NG full pack with GNS3 pack instead which they happily obliged.

I’m always been asked to design complex networks and, as a freelance CCDE, I very rarely have access to the kit before the implementation so being able to lab something up is invaluable.

Wow! IT ACTUALLY WORKS
Wow, I have spent so many hours troubleshooting GNS3 and getting the dang thing to work properly for years. I used it to get my CCNP and have worked for Amazon for the last 6 years. I now am back trying to buttress my knowledge and I had to find a training platform that was easier than I had experienced in the past. The DYNAMIPS FULL-PACK is AMAZING!. I just started with it but so far it’s been seamless. Just get a VMWare hypervisor. I’m actually using Fusion 11. Install the VM, what ever one you choose, I chose GNS3 because I am so familiar with it. It Just Works. I’m impressed so far. Thanks.
